Happy Valentine's to All!

It's time for my anual post and I thought that today would be the day for it! Wesley and I have to work all day and evening so we celebrated V-day last night by going to the movies. It was great to find out that one of Wes' students worked at the front...he let us in for free!!! We chose to see Pink Panther.

It was great. I think we laughed the whole way through. However, the gentleman in front of us typically laughed about 30 sec. longer than anyone else in the theater. Hearing him get such a kick out of it would make me start to laugh all over again. It was all quite fun! Enjoy your day everyone!

Pocket Guide to the Operating Room
By Maxine A. Goldman

Hello again! I've got a second here at work, so I thought I'd actually post something on my site and not just read everyone elses.

So this happened to me last week: I was running an errand for Dr. Giese. All I was suppose to do was take a photograph to another doctor have him look at it take some notes and bring it back.  When I got to the other doctor's office I was suprised to see that he was an older man that walked all hunched over speaking out of the side of his mouth and wearing shaded glasses. No big deal, just not what you'd expected I suppose.

He pulled the patient's file and asked me to follow him into the room. He starts rummaging through the very disorganized file and then asks me to find his operation reports." I've never worked in this office before! I don't know your filing system!" I thought. Then he changed his mind and started to examine the photograph. First he pulls out another pair of glasses and holds them at a great distance from his face. Then he asked me my opinion on his last surgical insicion. Not how it looked, mind you, but where it was!!! I was floored!

He finally turned on the examination light and leaned under it to get a better look. He made his notes based on my answers and sent me on my way!!! These notes are now going to change this patients cancer treatments!!!! I had to explain my odd experience to the therapist...there's no way I was gonna have that on my head! Everything turned out okay! I felt like i was in some kind of comedy show or hidden camera trick. This dude was a surgeon, for crying out loud, and couldn't even see! The moral of the story is...If you need any medical attention in the future please go somewhere other than murray! or at least ask me about the doctors around here. They're not all that bad, I promise!

Have a good day!

Marquee Messages: Sentence Sermons for the Church Sign

Well, look here...I'm writing another post. Aren't you shocked!?! I am. I'm basically writing because I have approx. 5 hours to kill. I'm at work and I've finished all I know to do and it's only 11:20am. This is going to be a fun day.

So,Wesley and I are going to get a new pet....a rabbit. At least we're going to give it a try. It's still a baby right now and we're trying to come up with a name. I'm open to suggestions. It's  mostly white with dark grey ears and big grey patches on it's back.

Now, onto another topic. Do you ever read church marquees? Well, I do, and usually they are quite rediculous! Here's a few of the latest:

"God and You and MSU: a winning team"

' And Jesus said,"Go ye therefore and Git 'R' Done!"'

Can you believe that!  I think that those signs should be reserved for what time sunday school and worship starts! Well, have a good day all you xanga folk!

Well, my job has been keeping me very, very busy lately. I think I'm ready to have a day like my last post. Vacation Bible School has been going on. It's been a blast, don't you think!

I really like the fact that you get to eat dinner there, the kids are cool, Mr.Bob the camp leader is really cute, and watching Bro.Ricky do the motions to the songs tops it all off! One more night! ~on a ramblin' road trip, which way do I go? ~ admit it...it's stuck in your head, too!
